The NSC’s Cyber-Physical Systems Lead, Dr. Andrei Petrovski and SeaFlo Consultancy Founder and Operations Director, Charlie Reith, were delighted to attend ‘The Joint Industry Event – Can Offshore Operations be Sustainable?’ hosted by IMCA (International Marine Contractors Association)SUT – Society for Underwater Technology & The Hydrographic Society in Scotland and sponsored by Verlume & Fugro in Aberdeen.

Alongside a fantastic line-up of speakers, Andrei and Charles delivered a presentation on “Remote Maritime Operations Augmented by Intelligent Asset Digital Twin Technology and Low Touch Energy Solutions“ and introduced the recently started joint project between the National Subsea Centre and SeaFlo looking to establish an Asset Digital Twin Laboratory (ADT-Lab) focused on providing the underpinning research and technology development required to enable predictive maintenance for the energy industry.
